3 Steps to Make Money with Affiliate Marketing And Earn $100 a Day
Have A Central Location For A Website
My first tip is to have a central platform location to distribute your content. Nobody’s making money online if they don’t have a central location to put your content. A perfect example is a website, which I prefer. If your on a budget you could use a YouTube channel. A lot of people make a ton of money with just a YouTube channel. A Tumblr site is another great way to go. Then there is Facebook. Having a Facebook page has its advantages but has its downfalls too. The best way to get started with no money out of pocket is WordPress. But these are just stopgap measures until you get your own website.
Regardless of which platform you pick you’re going to need a place to put your content and your related affiliate links. Once you start making money, I highly recommend you register your name as a domain name and get your own website. Like robrobertson.com and build an affiliate website around your name. Then point all your Youtube, Facebook and Tumblr traffic to that domain. But the main thing is you need to create some good content.
Pick The Right Niche
The next thing before you start monetizing that content is to pick the right Niche. It’s so important that you work with a specific Niche, with a specific audience. That’s going to dictate your level motivation, your content and your affiliate links. The worst thing you could do is be all over the place when it comes to picking a niche. I’m not saying there is something wrong with a general website like Walmart or an Amazon or anything like that but trust me you’re going to put more money and more effort getting that off the ground. But when you start off with a specific Niche you will be more confident putting your name on it. You can start your niche with a more generic name but you want to have that affiliate site set up so that you have specific links and a specific email list. So when you send your offers out to your people to visit your site everybody’s on the same page. It makes management a whole lot easier too. You can make way more money that way and you ‘ll be good to go. If you promote books one week and dog food the next your going to confuse your audience. So keep that in mind when you’re picking your affiliate links.
Provide Value Before You Sell To Visitors
The third tip I want to give you today is that your valuable content must come first. Before you get that first sale you have to draw in your audience. A lot of people starting out in affiliate marketing and push their links right away. This is not the right approach. I’m not going to say it doesn’t work, but out of a hundred people, you might get one or two sales. But you’re losing the other 98 people. Do you think those other 98 are going to come back and look at your content again? No, that’s why your number one goal after creating your platform is to provide value. You have to get that content right. This is what people what to be engaged in, consuming your content. After a while, people are going to say to themselves Rods of a great guy and I like some of his free content, I’m going to buy something from him, support his YouTube channel. This will improve your career or put more money in your pocket. Either way, you’re going to put yourself ahead of the pack and put yourself in a position to be an authority on the subject.
